One Soul
One Soul,
Divided by Gods.
Separate and never together.
Thinking, loving, longing, waiting.
For next time.
Until we meet again.
I knew you then.
In a different life.
Separated by fate and death.
I know you.
You know.
Now.
My perfect mirror.
Love in my dreams.
I feel you.
Fire to Fire.
My other half of whole.
Sacred.
God and Goddess.
Twin-Flames.
Ariadne and Bacchus.
The Universe calls your name.

Ariadne and Dionysis on bowl from Thebes. 300 BCE

Ariadne on Island waiting for Dionysus, Island of Naxos. George Frederick Watts, 1875.

Ariadne and Bacchus. Kreusa the Painter. 380 A.D.

This poetry is dedicated to the RUSH guys, Alex Lifeson, Geddy Lee and the late Neil Peart and was inspired by their song Bacchus Plateau from The Fountain Of Lamneth.
We see Ariadne's Crown thrown into the sky by Bacchus (Dionysos) in his joy over his marriage to Ariadne after she not once, but twice died for him, her destined love; and he, hers.
This is part of my Mirrors collections of writings.
